Private Water Supply (Wells)

The Private Drinking Water Program sites wells for homeowners using NC State Rules and laws for setbacks to possible contamination sources, proper construction of the well, and once the well is completed - sample well water for analysis. This service is available after a flood event, or if the well may have been compromised in some way.
