Services Include...

  • Comprehensive prenatal care

  • On-site laboratory testing

  • Client education, counseling, and referrals as appropriate

  • Postpartum care

  • Case management

How are services paid for?

  • Self payment (most services are based on a sliding fee scale determined by family size and income)

  • Medicaid

  • Private Insurance

To Schedule an Appointment for Prenatal Services:

  • There is an initial prenatal history appointment with a maternity nurse, followed by a physical exam appointment with the certified nurse midwife.

  • Post-partum checks are due six weeks after delivery.  The client should call the Health Department for an appointment shortly after delivery.

  • New babies are eligible for well child checks through the Health Department beginning at birth.
