Maternity Care Coordination Program from the Hyde County Health Department

The Maternity Care Coordination (MCC) program, also called Baby Love, helps pregnant women and new mothers address concerns and problems that may affect the health of their baby.  MCC is available no matter where you receive your prenatal care, however it is restricted to Hyde County residents only.

The MCC can provide:

  • Assistance in applying for Medicaid and health insurance coverage for other children

  • Referrals to community resources and agencies for housing, school, transportation, child care, etc.

  • Referrals to agencies that provide information on pregnancy and newborn care

  • Resources to address issues that may cause stress or worry
