Hurricane season is here!  In the event your private drinking water well is flooded during a hurricane, contact the Hyde County Health Department Environmental Health Program at 926-4380 for instructions on well chlorination and water sampling.  In the event of a disaster there is no fee for sampling a private drinking water well.
