Immunization Information from the Hyde County Health Department

Hyde County Health Department offers immunizations to prevent and eliminate several diseases.  Immunizations are available to infants, children, adolescents, and adults and are available to the public regardless of residency.  No appointment is necessary.  Walk in patients are welcome during regular business hours, Monday through Friday, 8:00 am – 5:00 pm.


Immunizations are administered to persons ages 18 and below FREE of charge.  Protection can be provided from the following:

  • Hepatitis A & B
  • Measles
  • Diptheria
  • Mumps
  • Tetanus
  • Rubella
  • Pertussis
  • Chicken Pox
  • Polio
  • Meningitis
  • Influenza
  • Pneumonia
  • Human Papillomavirus
