Private Water Supply Information from the Hyde County Health Department

Bacteriological, inorganic chemical, Petroleum and Pesticide sampling is available for private drinking water wells.  All private drinking water wells must be permitted by the Hyde County Health Department and installed by a N.C. Certified Installer who is registered with the Hyde County Health Department.

As of July 2008, there will be rules and regulations for the installation and testing of private water supplies for residential homes.
