Environmental Health Service from the Hyde County Health Department

Hyde County Health Department ensures the health and safety of residents while reducing the threat of the spread of communicable diseases through evaluation and education of environmental health policies and regulations.

On-Site Water Protection Program

On-site evaluations, governed by the state and local rules, are performed to determine if a site is suitable to support a septic system for utilization by the community, individual families and businesses.

Evaluations are performed on existing systems for mobile home relocations and repair site visits for malfunctioning systems.
