The
Child Service Coordination (CSC) program is a
FREE program that helps families with children
ages birth to 3 years who are at risk for
developmental delays as well as those children
ages 3-5 years who have already been diagnosed
with a condition.
The CSC program helps
families find and use community services. We
can help with finding medical care including
immunizations, transportation, childcare and/or
financial aid. Our goal is to support your
family and child in reaching their full
developmental potential.
Do you have a
child or know of one that seems to be developing
“slower” than other children their age? Is
their speech delayed? Do they have behavioral
problems? Were they born too early
(premature)? Do they have any illnesses like
asthma, Down Syndrome, seizures, or hearing or
vision problems? If so or if you simply have
significant concerns, please contact the Hyde
County Health Department at 926-4389 to speak
with a nurse. We’ll send you a free brochure
and more information about the program.
No concern is
too small and no child will be turned away.
