Breast and Cervical Cancer Control Service at the Hyde County Health Department

Breast and Cervical Cancer Screening services are targeted to women 50 to 65 years of age. Eligibility is based on insurance status (uninsured and underinsured) and income.

Services provided through BCCCP include:

Pelvic exam

Pap smear

Clinical breast exam

Mammogram

Health education & counseling

Referral and follow up for abnormal findings

Medicaid eligibility may be available to those individuals diagnosed with cancer and needing treatment services.
